The ads for this Isotonix Vitamin C product is touted as the fastest absorbing Vitamin C in the world! 90% - 95% absorbing rate! Sounds very promising?

Well...what info i could not find was the utilization rate. How much of the Vitamin C can be utilize by the body?

The answer is a very gray area. It depends on individuals.

But one thing for sure. This product is not a whole food source of Vitamin C (means it does not contain the co-factors of Vitamin C). It's vitamin C and other nutrients are as extracts (not the whole fruit and the vit C is actually ascorbic acid, which is not entirely vit C!).

Those along the line of - better something than nothing. This is a product to consider. :)

I have been taking Vitamin C in the form of Isotonix - an amazing amazing product I get from my gym, Roland Semprie Rosedale. Basically it's in a powder from, and you mix it with water (it tastes like Kool-Aid!) You take it in on an empty stomach, so it absorbs INSTANTLY (like within 5 minutes) instead of sitting indigested in your stomach, and then getting excreted out before you can get the Vitamin C into your system! Check it out.
