Use your HEAD!

Have you ever felt FRUSTRATED that …

Things did not go as planned?

Something or someone is holding you back?

The result was under your expectations?

You felt lost in a situation or task that you were confident of accomplishing before?

You are stuck in the same problems that you were sure you have solved before?

You think you are going nowhere with your current situation, job or career?

Then it is high time for you to use your H.E.A.D!

Just what is H.E.A.D?

H.E.A.D are defining moments in your life. In my opinion it also serves as a checklist for personal planning or self analysis/appraisal.

Below is an excerpt from the book WHY WE WANT YOU TO BE RICH by Donald J. Trump and Robert T. Kiyosaki. One a real estate billionaire (Donald) and another an investor and educator of financial intelligence. Both are bestselling authors in their own rights. I would highly recommend this book to anyone regardless of profession for self development and discovery.

H.E.A.D is not a step by step thought structure. I just put it that way for easy understanding. In the book, it is not written as a system. Lets look at it in a reverse order.

“ Most of us have heard about the Three D’s:

  1. Desire
  2. Drive
  3. Discipline

We all know people who have desire – for example a desire to be rich, but they lack either the drive or the discipline or both.

Most of us have heard about the Triple As:

  1. Ambition
  2. Ability
  3. Attitude

We all know people who have ambition, but they never develop their abilities – often because they have a bad attitude.

Most of us have heard about the Triple Es:

  1. Education
  2. Experience
  3. Execution

We all know people who have great educations but lack real world experience. When they lack real-world experience, they often are unable to execute – perform, get things done in a timely manner, produce results – in the real world.

And most of us have heard of the Four Hs:

  1. Honor
  2. Humility
  3. Humor
  4. Happiness

We all know people who are successful, but attained success without honor. And we all know people who are successful, but lack humility. We also know people who do not have a sense of humor – they have lost their ability to laugh at themselves. And we all know people who are successful, but not happy.

…. What have been your defining moments? Have they helped you be successful? Have they held you back? Be honest with yourself. With honesty comes clarity, and with clarity comes the opportunity to change. You may start to see your life more clearly and have another defining moment, the moment you take control over your own life!”
